Through trail and habitat restoration, wildlife research, youth education, visitor services, and cultural preservation, the Conservancy strives to ensure Yosemite remains a source of inspiration, learning, and enjoyment for all people for generations to come. It was formed in 2010 through the merger of the Yosemite Association (founded in 1923) and The Yosemite Fund (founded in 1988).
