The primary camp facility and operational headquarters, hosting year-round camp programs, medical support, volunteer coordination, and recreational activities for children with serious medical conditions and their families.

Universally accessible facilities including a 'Well Shell' (state-of-the-art medical center), swimming pool, Boating and Fishing Dock on a private lake, equestrian center ('The Painted Paddock'), adaptive ropes course, theater ('The Laughter-Life Theatre'), woodshop, arts & crafts studio, archery range, and themed camper cabins. The entire 173-acre site is designed for medical safety and accessibility.

The Painted Turtle primarily serves children and families from California. However, it is a significant member of the SeriousFun Children's Network, a global community of 30 camps and programs founded by Paul Newman. This affiliation connects The Painted Turtle to a worldwide effort to provide transformative experiences to children living with serious illnesses, sharing best practices, resources, and a common mission across continents.
