Iconic Neoclassical architecture designed by Sir William Chambers, the Edmond J. Safra Fountain Court (used for ice skating in winter and outdoor events in summer), River Terrace with views over the Thames, numerous gallery spaces, performance venues, and creative studios. The Courtauld Gallery is also housed within the Somerset House complex, though it is a separate institution.
