The National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) is a United States government organization and a key component of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). Established in 2004, NCTC is responsible for leading and integrating the national counterterrorism (CT) effort by fusing foreign and domestic CT information, providing all-source analysis, maintaining the U.S. government's authoritative database of known and suspected terrorists, and sharing information with partners across the U.S. government and with international allies.
