The Institute for Defense Analyses (IDA) is a non-profit corporation that operates three Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDCs): the Systems and Analyses Center (SAC), the Science and Technology Policy Institute (STPI), and the Center for Communications and Computing (C&CC).
