Equitas Health is a non-profit community healthcare system founded in 1984, originally as the Columbus AIDS Task Force. It has since grown to become one of the nation's largest LGBTQ+ and HIV/AIDS-serving healthcare organizations. Equitas Health provides comprehensive, affirming, and culturally competent medical care, pharmacy services, dental care, behavioral health, HIV/STI testing and prevention, PrEP navigation, recovery services, and other supportive services. Their mission is to be the gateway to good health for those at risk of or affected by HIV, for the LGBTQ+ community, and for those seeking a welcoming and affirming healthcare home.
Serves as the central administrative, strategic planning, and operational support center for all Equitas Health clinics and programs. This includes finance, human resources, marketing, IT, advocacy, and executive leadership.
Modern office facility designed to support a collaborative work environment for its administrative and leadership teams. It is strategically located to manage its network of health centers.
Mission-driven, inclusive, and patient-centered. Employees are passionate about health equity and providing compassionate care. The environment fosters collaboration, innovation, and respect for diversity.
The headquarters is vital for coordinating care across numerous locations, developing new health initiatives, managing resources effectively, and advocating for policies that support the health and wellness of the communities served.
Equitas Health's operations are primarily focused within the United States, specifically serving communities in Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia. While it does not have a physical global presence in terms of international offices, its impact is felt more broadly through its contributions to research, best practices in LGBTQ+ and HIV healthcare, and advocacy efforts that can influence national and international health standards and awareness.
