Cumberland Heights is a nationally recognized, non-profit alcohol and drug addiction treatment center founded in 1966. Located in Nashville, Tennessee, with additional outpatient facilities across the state, Cumberland Heights provides a continuum of care including detoxification, residential treatment, outpatient programs (IOP), extended care (sober living), and robust family support programs. Their treatment philosophy is grounded in the 12-Step model, integrated with evidence-based clinical therapies, to help individuals and families find lasting recovery from addiction.
Serves as the primary residential treatment facility, offering detoxification, various levels of residential care, and hosts the administrative offices for the organization.
Expansive 177-acre campus with natural landscapes, walking trails, dedicated men's and women's residential lodges, a spiritual activities center, modern detox unit, fitness facilities, and multiple spaces for individual and group therapy.
A mission-driven, compassionate, and collaborative environment where medical professionals, therapists, and support staff are dedicated to providing high-quality patient care and fostering hope. Emphasis is placed on teamwork, continuous learning, and ethical practice.
As a pioneering non-profit treatment center with over five decades of experience, the Nashville headquarters is significant for its long history of service, its development of comprehensive treatment modalities, and its role as a leading recovery resource in the Southeastern United States.
Cumberland Heights primarily serves individuals from across the United States, with a strong focus on Tennessee and the Southeastern region. While they may assess and admit international clients on a case-by-case basis if their programs are a suitable fit, they do not maintain a dedicated international outreach program or operate physical office locations outside of the USA. Their services are delivered from their main campus in Nashville and various outpatient centers within Tennessee.
