Center on Halsted is dedicated to advancing community and securing the health and well-being of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ+) people in Chicagoland. As the Midwest's most comprehensive community center, it provides a wide array of programs and services encompassing health and wellness, arts and culture, youth services, senior programs, behavioral health, HIV/STI testing, and community-building initiatives. It serves as a vital hub and safe space for the LGBTQ+ community, with more than 1,000 community members visiting the Center every day.
