Catholic Charities USA (CCUSA) is the national office for the Catholic Charities network, a collective of independent, local Catholic Charities agencies across the United States and its territories. These agencies deliver a broad spectrum of social services to individuals and families in need, irrespective of their religious, social, or economic background. Key services include disaster relief, food security programs, housing assistance, counseling, services for immigrants and refugees, adoption and foster care, and robust advocacy for social justice. CCUSA's role is to bolster these local agencies by offering leadership, technical assistance, professional training, coordinating disaster response efforts, and championing the network's cause at the national level.
Serves as the national membership office, providing leadership, advocacy, training, research, and disaster relief coordination for local Catholic Charities agencies across the United States.
Modern office facility designed to support national operations, collaboration amongst staff, and hosting for meetings and training events.
Mission-driven, deeply rooted in Catholic social teaching, fostering a collaborative environment focused on service, compassion, and social justice for all.
The headquarters acts as the central hub for one of the largest social service networks in the U.S., coordinating national efforts and amplifying the voice of local agencies on policy and social issues.
While Catholic Charities USA's primary focus is domestic within the United States, it is an active member of Caritas Internationalis. Caritas Internationalis is a global confederation of over 160 Catholic relief, development, and social service organizations operating in more than 200 countries and territories. This affiliation connects CCUSA to a worldwide network, facilitating shared learning, collaboration on global issues impacting poverty and injustice, and coordinated responses to international humanitarian crises when appropriate.
