The Anaheim Ducks are a professional ice hockey team based in Anaheim, California. They compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Pacific Division in the Western Conference. Originally founded in 1993 by The Walt Disney Company as the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, the team was later purchased by Henry and Susan Samueli in 2005, who rebranded the team as the Anaheim Ducks before the 2006–07 season. The Ducks won their first and, to date, only Stanley Cup championship in 2007. Their home arena is the Honda Center, and they are known for their community involvement and efforts in growing youth hockey in Southern California.
Serves as the main venue for home games, team administrative offices, player facilities, ticketing, marketing, and community relations departments.
A multi-purpose arena with a seating capacity of over 17,000 for hockey. Features modern amenities, executive suites, press facilities, and team stores. The nearby Great Park Ice & FivePoint Arena serves as their primary practice facility.
A dynamic and high-energy environment driven by the competitive nature of professional sports. Emphasis on teamwork, performance, fan engagement, and community outreach. The culture fosters dedication to the sport and the Ducks brand.
The Honda Center is not only the home of the Ducks but also a major entertainment venue in Orange County, hosting concerts and other large-scale events. It's the symbolic heart of the franchise and its connection to the fan base.
While the Anaheim Ducks are primarily focused on their operations in Southern California and competing within North America's NHL, their global presence is felt through international player scouting and recruitment (particularly from Europe and Canada), global broadcasting of NHL games, merchandise sales to a worldwide fanbase, and occasional participation in NHL Global Series games abroad.
