The Alliance for Peacebuilding has a significant global presence primarily through its extensive network of over 180 member organizations operating in 181 countries. While its central operations are managed from Washington D.C., AfP supports and coordinates peacebuilding initiatives worldwide. Functions supported globally include policy advocacy at national and international levels, capacity building for peacebuilders, sharing of best practices and innovative approaches, conflict analysis, fostering collaboration among diverse actors (CSOs, governments, IOs), and mobilizing resources for peacebuilding efforts.
